2nd double page spread analysis

At the very top of this double page spread there is the use of a pull quote which is inviting to the reader to read before continuing to read the article. Below this quote the use of the larger images allow the reader to feel like their getting to know the artists more and they will be able to recognise them more.

The use of the caption allows for people who aren’t familiar with these particular artists to be able to know who these people are and what the photograph is going to be about. When glancing through the writing you can see the use of another drop cap used half way through the story, by including this it will enhance people’s interest and allow for them not to lose their interest in the story half way through.

Following the drop cap there is the use of capitals for the remained of the sentence this will allow the reader to see that this is an important part of the story to follow. On the following page the use of the side bar in a more vibrant pink colour allows for this section to be clearly seen and distinguished.

As this part of the story is in the different colour it connotes to us that this part of the story hae of different images all relating to this story allow for the reader’s attention to be drawn and for the eye to be s other information or that it may just be a more important part of the story that all the people want and need to read for some extra information.

The use of this house style allows for the magazine to be easily navigated through not causing any confusion for the reader when they reach this certain page.By including these images it explains more about the story not over loading the brain with lots of information that the reader isn’t going to be taking away with them after reading this article. By the caption also being included here it allows the reader to clearly see that the images are included for a reason. It provides the reader with information and enhances them into what the point of these images really are.
